I have not used this with a DTG of my own and I can not ensure the outcome but if you are willing to experiment you just might find it useful. You will need to find out where the XML files for Gutenprint are being stored and manually place the the "Change" files in their respective folders to overwrite the originals. If you are using a different operating system the installation procedures would be different. The development for this product was performed on a 32bit XP workstation. Start the installation process by executing the batch file in the Gutenprint 4 Windows folder.
If however you are merely a hacker this solution just may work for you. I firmly believe that EKRip is the best product if you are seriously interested in making a career of DTG printing. I wrote this because I am aware that there are many of us who are from third world countries or who have been severely hampered by the economy.
This should be an economical way to print white on black shirts on a shoe string. I have changed the printer parameters so that the printer will lay down a descent amount of ink.
